SimpleGames

Objective

SimpleGames is a collection of very simple games that I have been developing for my 5 year old daughter. She does not like the more violent aspects of most computer games, so I am trying to produce some tamer ones for her.

The intention is that these games will run on Linux, Windows or a (modified) Xbox, but at the moment I have only managed to compile them on Linux.

The Games

The games are at a very early stage of development (there is only one that works at the moment). The ones I intend to produce are:

• Sleigh: A simple catching game - presents are falling from Santa's sleigh and you have to catch as many as you can for him in a certain time. This is the only working game at the moment.
• Frogger: A reproduction of the old game about helping a frog to cross a busyroad and a river to get home.
• Kong: A simple platform game where King Kong tries to push you down the hill with barrels.

The games can be downloaded from the www.sourceforge.net/projects/simplegames.
